Kettle Trophy Round 3.1

Friday night last saw the first of the two-game sessions in the club. Shona Watt had to call in a late sub to protect her knee - get well soon, Shona! Eilidh Robb stepped in as a last minute substitute - thanks Eilidh! Kerry Barr moved up to skip the team, with Lois Copland at three and Susan MacFarlane at two. It was a stolen two in the penultimate end that did it for Shona's team, so well played, Karen Munro, Mike Wood, Graham Paterson and substitute Joe Barry. Karen now moves to the top of the league table on six points - going very well is team K Munro! Meanwhile in the other game, there was a bit of a ding-dong battle between Brian Fleming's team, skipped in his absence by Rowena Steven and Dave Munro. Dave Munro was particularly impressed by the opposition and Richie Anderson apparently had a stormer - well played Richie! Douglas Burns had moved up to play third and Eilidh Yeats came in as substitute and played lead. 10-9 was the final score and both teams were chucking 3s, 4s and 5s at each other! The 5 came in the last end and was scored by Dave and co - so close but the cigar rights stayed with Rowena and her team! Here's the results grid
