Jen Marshall Wins the C&B Points Competition

Many thanks to president Niall for his report on last Friday's Points competition. The event followed a full session of C&B curling rather than take place before a session; as a result, thirteen members took part - doubtless encouraged by the sandwiches and cake that secretary Jenny had organised to encourage folk back onto the ice! In the absence of the Steven family, it fell to president Niall to lead the players off in the competition. There were a total of six disciplines completed - a creditable achievement by all who took part. There was some good scoring, but Jen's 36 out of 48, or 75%, was a really excellent score. Many congratulations to Jen. President Niall Gunn announced the winner at the end of the competition, but decided to keep the identity of the runner-up and winner of the butter dish until the AGM!
