Bob Barr, John Penny, Karen Munro and Graeme Maguire Secure the Glenbrook QuaichIn the second of the "Beast fae the East" re-arranged ties, Bob Barr faced off against Robin Copland. It wasn't quite "winner take all"; Bob was two points ahead of Robin as they went into their game, so Robin had to win and win at least the same number of ends as Bob' team. All was looking good for Robin, Betty Gibb, Josh Kellock and Susan MacFarlane; a big three in the sixth end (one of many threes and fours that the two teams were chucking in each other's direction!) secured their fourth end. All they had to do was keep it clean and restrict Bob to an end score of less than four.
So anyhow, Bob and co scored the four they needed for the draw and, more importantly, the point they needed to secure the Glenbrook Quaich.
