A couple of lucky rubs and crucial misses cost Brian, Nook Weir, Simon Kesley and substitute Gavin Barr their game against Andrew Galloway this evening.  The score is a bit flattering to Andrew, Robin, and substitutes Maggie Barry and Raymond Preston, but they did play pretty well and took their luck when it came their way.  Five ends may prove useful when la grande dame starts warbling.

Meanwhile, John Steven,  Anne Anderson, Sheena Munro and substitute Karen Munro positively leapt up the league table thanks to six ends won in an eight end game against Bob Barr, Andrew Cargill, Barbara Wood and Margaret Jacks.  They were plum last at the start of the game and now find themselves in third place!
