It is maybe the thought that there follows a full game of curling that is putting people off playing in the points. This year, only six competitors took to the ice, Karen Munro, Susan Kesley, Anne Anderson, Donald Kennedy, Dave Munro and Robin Copland. This, of course, gave more time to go deeper into the disciplines and indeed all ten were managed well within the time allocated. I can confirm that the six players involved had a good workout and that their skills were tested to the full on the excellent ice provided on sheets one and two. I can also confirm that they were all pretty much kay-nacked after throwing forty stones each!
Robin won with 51 points and Dave Munro was runner-up with 43. Susan and Karen both scored 38 points to share the ladies competition.
