With the Scottish Ladies Junior Championship already in the Aitken trophy cabinet, Gina is going all out for the double! She and her team of Naomi Brown, Rowena Kerr and Rachel Hannen have qualified in third place for the Scottish Ladies Championships play-offs.
As far as I can understand, there will be a play-off on Saturday morning between the Olympic Bronze Medalist team, skipped by Eve Muirhead, who qualified in first place and the second qualifier team skipped by Hannah Fleming. The winner of that game goes straight to the final and the loser drops down to play Gina and her team in the semi-final at 7.00 pm. The winner of that game qualifies for the final on Sunday.
A fantastic achievement to get so far and Currie and Balerno CC is still in the running to have a Scottish Ladies Champion two years in a row!
