Lymphoy Cup Round One Results and League Table

An interesting first night's play in the Lymphoy Cup.  Here are the results

Andrew Barr found himself the only man on a sheet of ice surrounded as he was by seven wonderful examples of female pulchritude - including the Sister Double Act of Barr and Still.  These are words that are not normally seen together, Barrs being famous purveyors of fizzy drinks, but there we are; Currie and Balerno is nothing if not a broad church.  Anyhow, they did for Katie and co.

Mike Wood found himself up against it in his match against Andrew Galloway and found himself facing really big ends on occasion; big win for Andrew in this one.

Brian Fleming was on senior curling duties this weekend, but needn't have worried; Andrew Cargill and Simon Kesley stepped up in the team and accounted for Shona Watt.  The score looks tight; Shona staged a late fightback and nearly snatched a draw at the end.  Team Fleming had been in charge for most of the game.

Copland and Barr lost quickly!  The John Steven, Susan Kesley, Karen Munro, Donald Kennedy rink will be hard to beat.  They are strong right through the rink (though Graeme Maguire replaced Karen for this one) and gave Copland, Barr (Bob), Gibb and Munro (Sheena) a bit of a doing if we are honest.
