Brian Fleming, Lois Copland, Barbara Wood and Sheena Munro Secure the Kettle!
With a good win against Katie Wood on Friday last, Brian and his team secured the Kettle. With one game to go, they remain undefeated and cannot now be caught by the following pack.
Meanwhile, in a tight game, Mike Wood prevailed over Jenny Barr in an exciting game that went to the last end. He leapfrogs Jenny onto seven points in the league.

Brian has taken a decisive lead in the league and now sits 3 points clear of the field. He has a strong team in front of him (I really have to say that, don't I!) with Lois Copland at third, Barbara Wood at second and Sheena Munro at lead.
Poor Barbara has been hors de combat for most of the season and has had to get substitutes in to play in her place. She has obviously been picking them well!
At this stage in the league, all that Brian and company have to do is score two points out of a possible four and the league is theirs (they did!).
In order for Jenny to keep challenging, she has to hope that Brian drops points (he didn't) and keep winning (she didn't).
