AGM - 22nd April 2026

Currie and Balerno's AGM was held at Currie Rugby Club on the 22nd of April, with lots of club members in attendance. The trophies for all competitions were handed out, as well as the club Achievement Award.

The recipient of the Achievement Award this year was Michael Wood. His behind-the-scenes work at Murrayfield Curling has been non-stop and this involvement has helped up to keep our ice rink going despite external pressures. Thank you Michael!

AGM and Prize-Giving 30th April 2025

Currie and Balerno CC's AGM was held on the 30th of April at Currie Rugby Club. The meeting was chaired by President Betty Gibb, who passed over to new president Kerry Clark, with Jenny Barr and Dave Munro filling out the top table. Trophies and prizes from the season were handed out after the AGM has wrapped.

The Winners from the 24/25 season were as follows:

The award for most ends won went to Mike Wood's team in the Lymphoy competition with an impressive 54 out of a possible 56 ends played!

Thank you to the committee, the players and the subs for making the season a great one. Special thanks to Jenny for organising not just the committee, but the ice, the teams and the rink itself. She does so much behind the scenes which allows the season to go without a hitch!
