Kettle Trophy Round 5.2 Results and League Table

Here's a funny thing: the biggest winner after last Friday's games wasn't even playing!  John Steven was sitting at home, beer in hand and telephone link opened to the rink asking, "How's it going now?"  The results, with his two nearest rivals both losing, has left him at the top of the table with two rounds to go.

Jenny and her team just couldn't get it together and after a nice start in end one of their game - that was it!  Robin, Raymond, and subs Ian Keron and Joe Barry managed to win the next six ends.  Kerry, Gina Aitken, Lois Copland and Richie Anderson also had a big win, taking five ends of seven played.  This helped their cause no end as you can see in the league table below.

As said before, John retains his position at the top of the table on 8 points.  Robin is sixth on 5 points.  From Kerry on 7 through Brian, Jenny and Karen on 6, the league is still wide open.  More analysis later...
