Lymphoy Cup Round 4.75 - The Catch-up Game

The game that was postponed by Storm Eowyn on the 24th of January took place on Sunday (23rd of Feb). This saw Jennifer Marshall's team take on Andrew Galloway and John Steven take on Brian Fleming. A close game between Marshall and Galloway finished with Galloway taking the win. The other game was a little less close, with team Steven taking the win.

Lymphoy Cup - Last of Round 3 and Start of Round 5!

Last Friday (21st of February) saw Kerry Clark go against John Steven and Andrew Galloway go against Mike Wood. Both games passed some large ends back and forth but ultimately John and Mike came out on top. This makes the race for the top a lot tighter!

Lymphoy Round 3.5 and 4.25 (or something like that!)

Ah, Valentines Day...the perfect day to take to the ice and avoid having to take your partner out for a meal.

We are almost through Round 3 of the Lymphoy and there is no change at the top. Kerry's team had a win over Jennifer's team and Mike's team had a win over Brian's team. That means Kerry is out on top with 8 points with Mike behind on 6. They are, however, the only teams to have played 4 games, so there is a chance that someone may catch up although it will be difficult!

Lymphoy Round 2.5 and 3.25

Round 2 is now complete with Brian and Jennifer's teams taking to the ice against The Munro's. 

Karen and Brian did not have a good night with some pretty big loses (Brian lost 8-2 to Dave and Karen lost 13-6 to Jennifer's team, skipped by Maggie Barry). We even discussed just heading to the pub about half way through!

Lymphoy Cup Round 2.25 and 3.1 (or something like that!)

After storm Eowyn prevented a game happening last week, 4 teams were back on the ice yesterday (the 31st Jan, or the 92nd of January for teachers!)

It looks like there were 2 good games with one game only scoring 1s and 2s, where the other game had a couple of 3s scored for good measure! 

Kerry's team continue their winning streak with a 6 - 3 win over Andrew's team. Mike's team is back to winning ways after a win over John's team, after a very close game!
