Niall Gunn and John Steven fought out a hard fought game in which John was two-up, coming home and managed to restrict Niall to one shot in the eighth end. Louise Edwards took to the Currie and Balerno ice for the first time in a wee whiley, I venture, having moved back to these parts from Aberdeen during the summer. Welcome back, Louise and many thanks for turning out as a substitute. Thank you also to Andrew Cargill, Avril Anderson, Jen Marshall and David McHale who were substitutes in the Clark v Barr skirmish.
Two eight-end games, by the way. It's amazing what the extra five or so minutes session time does for the average end-count per game.
Here's the results grid.

And here is the resultant (and very close) league table.
| Position | Team | Played | Ends | Shots u/(d) | Shots scored | Points |
| 1 | K Clark | 2 | 11 | 8 | 18 | 2 |
| 2 | N Gunn | 2 | 9 | 1 | 14 | 2 |
| 3 | Kesley | 2 | 6 | -3 | 13 | 2 |
| 4 | Munro | 1 | 5 | 7 | 9 | 2 |
| 5 | J Steven | 2 | 5 | -6 | 13 | 2 |
| 6 | J Barr | 1 | 4 | 6 | 9 | 2 |
| 7 | M Wood | 1 | 2 | -7 | 2 | 0 |
| 8 | K Wood | 1 | 1 | -6 | 3 | 0 |
We need the Woods to come to the party in the next round for an unprecedented points scoreline (twos all round). Now that would be a first!
