Sellar Champions 2019!

The Sellar Trophy, affectionately known as "the Sellar" throughout Scotland's ladies curling community is one of Edinburgh Curling Club's most prestigious open ladies curling competitions and it attracts entries from all over Scotland.

This year, three of C & B's finest, Betty Gibb, Rowena Steven, Royal Caledonian Curling Club Ladies President Margaret Nicol - all aided by Kirsty Galloway - entered the competition and found themselves up against Margaret Robertson's strong Borders team from Kelso.  Earlier on in the competition's round-robin phase, the two teams had actually met, with the Edinburgh International Senior Ladies Champions coming out on top in a fairly one-sided game.

Were Betty, Rowena, Kirsty and Margaret phased by this earlier setback come the final?  Worry not, they all played a blinder to emerge winners of the competition.  Many congratulations all on a fine performance.
