Scottish Senior Curling Championships Update

Isobel Hannen is Scottish Senior Curling Champion!

Congratulations to Isobel who successfully defended her Scottish Senior title with team mates Jackie Lockhart, Christine Cannon and Margaret Richardson.  The truth is that they dominated the championship and went through the weekend undefeated.

After a really slow start in the competition, Susan Kesley, Fran Stretton, Vicky Gumley and Morna Aitken managed to win their last two games convincingly against Liz Paul and Sheilagh MacFarlane.  It was a shame the way that the draw worked out for team Kesley with three really tough games to start.

Andrew Galloway, playing third for Basil Baird, managed just one win in the men's competition but had some really tight games that could have gone either way.  They ended up not having to play their last game against Keith Prentice, so only played four.
