Lymphoy Trophy Round 3.2 Results and League Table

Brian Fleming, Andrew Barr, Anne Anderson and David Hogg must have thought they were on easy street after manufacturing an excellent stolen three in their first end against Andrew Galloway, Robin Copland Donald Kennedy and substitute Adam Keron.  Andrew and his team fought back gamely though and found themselves only one shot down, though without the hammer, playing the seventh end.

Step forward Donald Kennedy who played a fabulous freeze on a Fleming stone sitting on the edge of the four foot.  Fast forward to Brian's hit with his first stone with which he managed to dislodge the freeze but it still lay shot - on the other side of the four foot.  The front was crowded with overlapping stones all over the place.  With Andrew's last stone, he couldn't have placed it any better, lying behind a guard and right in front of Donald's stone - now the Galloway team lay game.

Brian had a really difficult cold draw to the edge of the four foot on the other side, or an elaborate raised hit, which he eventually went for.  Sadly, from his perspective, the shot didn't come off - in fact, it promoted another Galloway stone into the four foot; a stolen three!

Meanwhile, Jenny Barr was having "one of those" games against Susan Kesley.  Susan and her team seemed to have it all their own way and ended up winning comfortably with a score of 13-4.

Here are the results grid and league table.

Yet again, the committee seemed to have done a grand job as the table is getting awful crowded from league positions 1 to 5.  All to play for!
