Kettle Trophy Results and League Table Round 3.2

There was some tidying up to be done  on Friday with the remaining two games of round 3 to be completed.  28 members were kind of hoping that Susan Kesley's team,  skipped by Betty Gibb, might have a hiccup to begin their long slow haul back to contention.  Not happening.  Betty, Maggie Barry together with subs Eilidh Yeats and Douglas Burns eased away from Bob Barr, Kerry Clark, Joe Barry and substitute Agnes Barr, eventually wining the game 7-2.

Katie Wood's team, skipped by Raymond Preston kept their hopes alive with a big win against Jenny Barr.  They were 9-0 up after six ends!

I was going to say that the league was tight; it is from 2nd to 8th.  Susan is way out in front - undefeated after four games and on a perfect eight points.  I am not saying that Susan and her team have won the Kettle this year - but they're getting closer to the trophy with every point they score...
